FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
Debra L. Smithson
Debra L. Smithson is founder and president of Dayspring Ministries International, a worldwide ministry of signs, wonders, and miracles. For over 30 years, Debra has preached the Gospel with signs following in such places as: India, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Greece, Egypt, Burma, and the USA. Through the years she has seen the power and grace of God heal and deliver many people. From mud huts to mansions and jails to children’s crusades, Debra’s heart has always been for the lost and broken. Gifted with a strong apostolic and prophetic call, Debra believes that God loves to cross every barrier of race, religion, and culture with His healing power and saving grace. Debra also enjoys teaching and equipping the saints to mature and grow in their unique spiritual gifts and abilities.
Debra founded a ministry to women called Daughters of Reformation. This is an apostolic-prophetic ministry to women in all seven pillars of society. This ministry is based on God’s mandate to women from all walks of life to arise and walk in their God-given destiny. Debra enjoys seeing women break out of the ordinary into something extraordinary. She understands that every woman is a unique design by God and cannot be forced into a cookie-cutter mold. Through worship, teaching, and prayer, women are invited to experience the love and transforming power of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Debra believes that the secret to every woman’s strength is in her intimacy and oneness with Jesus and apart from Him she can do nothing. Intimacy is the key to unlocking destiny and revealing a woman’s true identity.
Debra also founded a ministry called Rescue Challenge 911. This ministry is dedicated to relieving the plight of child human-trafficking worldwide. As a missionary for several years, she has seen firsthand the degradation, abuse, and neglect of children throughout the world. The Bible tells us in James 1:27 that pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is to visit [care for] orphans and widows in their trouble. Debra believes God is calling His bride, the church, to arise and raise up a standard against this atrocity. Through intercessory prayer, special awareness events,
educational opportunities and financial giving, Debra urges all of us to pray and give and thereby become a voice for the innocent and helpless children worldwide.
