STATEMENT OF FAITH
What We Believe
We believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct.
2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, existing eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son
and God the Holy Spirit.
John 10:30; John 14:26; Philippians 2:5-7
We believe God is love and He loves all people. It is His desire to have a personal relationship with all people
through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ.
John 3:16-17; Psalm 68:5-6; 1 John 4:16
We believe mankind is created in the image of God but is separated from God by sin.
Without Jesus Christ we cannot have a personal relationship with God.
Genesis 1:26; 1 Timothy 2:5
We believe that salvation is a free gift from God based on the shed blood of Jesus Christ and cannot be earned
by good works. By admitting we have sinned and believing in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ,
and accepting Him as Lord, we can spend eternity with God.
Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 5:1; Romans 3:24
We believe in water baptism as the way for believers to identify with the death, burial and resurrection of the
Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Matthew 3:13-17
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as distinct from the new birth and that it is given to all believers who ask.
Matthew 3:11; Acts 1:4-5; Acts 2:4
We believe in the ongoing process of sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit,
and we believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life.
Romans 6:19; Galatians 5:22-25
We believe in divine healing and that healing is included in God’s plan of redemption.
Healing includes physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual restoration.
Isaiah 53:3-6; Luke 9:11, Matthew 10:1; Acts 10:38
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment
and suffering of the lost.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Hebrews 9:27-28; Revelation 20:12-15
We believe that Jesus Christ will return again and take all those who have accepted Him as Savior to be with
Him for all eternity.
Acts 1:10-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Hebrews 9:28
